Born and raised in Washington, DC, Chantell Denise has been a natural creative type since day one. Growing up heavily in the church, she was in the choir with a microphone in her hand by age of 3 and was into liturgical praise dancing by 9. With singing, dancing and countless church plays throughout her childhood, Chantell stayed in the limelight. Although she loved to sing, dance, and act, reading and writing were her first loves. By the time she had gotten into middle school, Chantell turned to writing to cope with understanding life and began journaling. From the solace of journaling, a love for poetry was birthed.

By the time she had gotten to high school, Chantell was an avid writer, and decided to join her school’s newspaper. Seeing her passion and potential, the newspaper adviser recommend her to join the student staff of her school’s news network. Thus began her days of a journalist and graphic designer for Friendship News Network (FNN). It was here that she discovered graphic and web design and a world of possibilities opened up for her.

Since then Chantell has served in the Navy, traveled the world and experienced a lot before the age of 23, yet, she returned to her first love, the Arts, and decided to pursue graphic and web designing as her career. She’s inspired to give back to youth and share with them the opportunity that was given to her through FNN. She plans on changing the mindset of youth by showing them that living their artistic dreams is possible. She dedicates  her life to helping them see that.
